Pokemania

Following Pokemon Red and Blue's North American release in 1998, the franchise quickly rose to extreme popularity in the United States, leading to an era commonly referred to as Pokemania.

Space World

Space World was an annual trade show run by Nintendo from 1989 to 2001. Pokemon had a strong presence at both Space World '97 and '99, including the elusive Gold and Silver demos, which very little was known about until data leaks in 2018 and 2020 made them available to the public.
